It’s always exciting to find new technology to make teacher’s jobs easier!  This is where I will store links to all of my favorite classroom links:  some for teachers, some for students, record-keeping, behavior management, grading, reading, writing, accommodations for students with IEPs, and so on.

Speak Selection: lets students listen to selected text in eBooks, webpages or other apps (Droid or Apple)

Evernote, Notability, Audio Notes, and Sound Note: take notes using voice

Air Sketch: math problem solving

MasteryConnect: Common Core state standards in an app

Pick a Student: randomly select students in class.  Use with document camera to show your students!

Sand Timer: timer projecting an hour-glass timer

Traffic Light: timer for activities using editable traffic light patterns (adjust for length of yellow and red light)

BookLeveler: Scan the barcode of a book or type the title/author

Groovy Grader: determine percentage correct by using this app

WordPress: update blogs

DocScan HD: turns camera shot to PDF or JPG.  Upgrade to store in Dropbox.
